- Local Info
Whilst staying in the tropics, it is advisable to place all food in containers or your refrigerator as food left on beach tops and tables will attract ants. It is also a good idea to empty your rubbish daily and leave fans on to circulate the air.
Marine ‘Stingers’ and ‘Jellyfish’ are present in coastal waters from November until approximately May and we strongly recommend you do not swim outside the stinger net enclosure as that is considered the only safe option of swimming in the sea during this period. However, if ‘Red Flags’ are present within the enclosure this warning means absolutely no swimming at all. Please read the signs.
For local advice on activities and tours please see reception. We have a range of maps available and a large range of brochures in the foyer. Please feel free to browse through these. Our reception staff can book any tour for you for no extra charge.
